Configure Aiterava Intelligence
All configuration is done from the dashboard: Settings → AI Intelligence.
Platform key mode (SaaS only)
In SaaS mode, Aiterava provides AI access via a credit system. No external API key is required.
- Each AI request consumes credits based on the model used
- Your credit balance is visible under Settings → AI Intelligence → Credits
- Alerts are sent when the balance reaches the alert threshold (80% by default)
BYOK — Bring Your Own Key
BYOK mode lets you use your own API key with any provider. Your tokens are billed directly by the provider, not Aiterava.
Enable BYOK
- Go to Settings → AI Intelligence.
- In the API Keys section, click + Add a key.
- Select the provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini...).
- Paste your API key.
- Click Save.
Keys are encrypted at rest (AESGCM) — you cannot read them back after saving.

BYOK on on-premise
On an on-premise instance, enable BYOK by adding to your .env:

AI policy settings
Under Settings → AI Intelligence → Policy, you can configure:
